More Classics

It was 6:30 pm on Wednesday and the sun had a nice glow to it.  I grabbed both cameras and headed down to Mapleview Mall where the classic cars congregate every Wednesday evening during the summer.  Each week the ‘regulars’ show up but there are surprising number of new {classic} cars.

When I arrived the area was almost full and the sun was at an agle to create some interesting shadows.  With my super wide angle I was able to get in close yet include a whole car.  The problem was keeping me out of the picture either directly or as a reflection.

With the longer lens I was able to home in on details and becasue of the warm bright sun, there were plenty of colourful reflections to add to those datailed as (as well as cum-abstract) shots.    To view a slide show – CLICK HERE
